The Stampe SV4 is equipped with a cell parachute

Mid-air collision, plane becomes uncontrollable, pilot becomes unwell, the triggering of the airframe parachute will save the lives of the passengers by allowing the aircraft to land gently.

A lever triggers a pyrotechnic system which ejects the parachute from the cell which will be fully inflated above the aircraft between 1.5 and 6 seconds after ignition.
